NIGEL LANGFORD
SENIOR LEADER OF HUB MOVEMENT
I have worked with Bev Murrill for the last ten years and have benefited beyond measure from her leadership. She is an incredible example of someone who takes seriously the challenge of helping train, release and equip emerging leaders. She is bold in taking risks on people and empowering them to lead, even those who may not have been the obvious choice! I have watched her shape cultural change in difficult situations, this contains a unique ability to cut the heart of the issues and provide dynamic solutions. Alongside this I have observed Bev as a pioneer, developing new opportunities that have resulted in life changing outcomes across the world, one example being Cherish Uganda. I also admire her for her incredible skill of communication both written and spoken. I am truly privileged to call Bev a friend, colleague, leader and mentor in my life.
CATHY MADAVAN
SPEAKER, WRITER AND AUTHOR.
Bev Murrill is an accomplished speaker, writer and mentor. She really is the real deal. Her years of leadership and strategic insight mean that she offers not only practical tools, but the kind of wisdom which is in short supply. I have found her insight invaluable and her teaching to be transformative. You know when you find yourself quoting somebody all the time, that they have deposited rich wisdom into your life. I cannot recommend Bev more highly - she is truly a leader of leaders. She will add immeasurable value to you, your event or your organisation.
DANIEL GARDINER
VICE PRESIDENT OF BAPTIST CHURCHES OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA
PASTOR OF CHRISTIES BEACH BAPTIST CHURCH
BOARD MEMBER OF BAPTIST CARE SOUTH AUSTRALIA
I have known Bev for over 20 years where on the strength of one conversation at a conference, my wife and I moved 500 miles to be mentored by Bev and her husband. They made us no promises (finances or position), simply that they would give us the time to mentor us as leaders and equip us for Christian service. What followed was an incredible roller-coaster ride. Yes, we became leaders and then associate pastors in their church, yes we were sent out to plant a church in Scotland, yes they mentored us and fulfilled their word to us. But what you won’t know (or expect) is their style of leadership. I have never seen a leader lay down their own platform for others often at the expense of their own ministry and often their own pocket. I have never seen leaders own up to their own failures and shortcomings, modelling accountability and integrity in such a vulnerable way. I have never seen leaders reinvent their ministry regularly as they were led by God into different opportunities, always keeping relevant to the people they were called to serve. I have never seen leaders operate with such faith that birthed a church movement, a leadership college, various churches, magazines, books, an international charity – all without seeking credit or financial gain. I could go on, however all you really need to know to answer the question on your own mind is that a brief meeting with Bev ended up changing my life, ministry and leadership forever and I know from observing the fruit of Bev’s ministry over the decades is that she could certainly do the same for you.
